I wrote this single after attending a landmark high school reunion. After the Frighday night reception, a bunch of classmates were sitting at an outdoor restaurant at about 11:00 PM, with the Cedar River flowing in the background. Stars were out, as was the moon, as I recall. I was talking to people I hadn't even heard about in decades.. This was no longer my home, but it all seemed so familiar, comfortable, and relaxing.
